Rhythmic gymnastics is an Olympic sport that combines the beauty of ballet, dance and gymnastics in choreographed routines with apparatuses such as ribbon, ball, rope, clubs and hoop. The sport made an immediate impact after it was introduced to Miami by IK School of Gymnastics.
A critical part of IK’s success in Rhythmic Gymnastics is reflected in the recruiting of elite coaches from throughout the world.
Iryna Kobets is a world renowned rhythmic gymnastics coach and owner of IK School of Gymnastics. She has been working as a coach since 2002. Her experience includes coaching the Junior National Ukrainian rhythmic gymnastics team for 6 years. Since moving to the United States, she put her years of experience and professional training to build awareness of this wonderful sport in Miami. Rhythmic Gymnastics, despite being a popular sport worldwide, is not as known here in the States.
Oksana Ivanchuk is a master of sports of USSR in Rhythmic Gymnastics. 18 times medalist and absolute champion of Uzbekistan. Winner of Olympic hopes competitions. Champion of USSR in individual routines 1989-1990, Champion of USSR in teams 1991. Silver medalist of European tournament in United Kingdom 1994. Gymnast of honored coach of Uzbekistan and Russian Federation I.A. Viner from 1985-1994. Have coached 3 members of US national team 1995-1996.
IK School of Gymnastics introduces Valentina Kevliyan who works and helps in its staff Tem to reach the Gold Medal Level. She is an excellent and experienced coach, four-time world champion, silver medalist of Olimpics in Rhythmic Gymnastics.
IK School of Gymnastics has earned a distinguished reputation in developing young top level gymnasts. Since 2009 the girls won medals at the most popular tournaments: Suncoast Sport Festival, International Star Cup, Gold Coast International Cup, Coaches Cup, Aviator Sport Event, Florida Championships, Regional Championships and National Competitions.
